Based on the examination of the voting system and the recommendations of the secretary of state staff and the voting systems review board, the secretary of state may issue a certification of the system if the secretary of state determines that the system meets all requirements for certification. The certification must include any conditions or procedures that the secretary of state deems necessary for the system to comply with Washington state law and practice. The secretary of state must notify all county auditors of the certification within thirty days.
