(1) The operator of any vehicle involved in an accident on campus resulting in injury or death of any person or claimed damage to either or both vehicles exceeding five hundred dollars shall immediately report such accident to the security officer on duty or operations office. Accidents occurring after the close of business shall be reported the next working day. The operator shall file a state of Washington motor vehicle report within twenty-four hours after such accident.

(2) Other minor accidents may be reported to the security officer on duty or operations office for insurance record purposes.
