Effective Date of Rule: Thirty-one days after filing.

     Purpose: The following rules are being repealed because they are duplicative of other rules or requirements. WAC 246-924-020 refers to the requirement for AIDS education and training, which is already specifically covered in WAC 246-924-110. WAC 246-924-080 is no longer required because the examining board of psychology no longer administers the written examination. This exam is now administered on a national level and the applicant is responsible for contacting the testing site directly to schedule their own testing day and time. The applicants addressed in WAC 246-924-050, 246-924-055, and 246-924-065 are eligible for licensure through the endorsement process and therefore, they do not require separate rules.

     Citation of Existing Rules Affected by this Order: Repealing WAC 246-924-020, 246-924-050, 246-924-055, 246-924-065, and 246-924-080.

WAC 246-924-065	Psychologists -- Experience requirement prerequisite to licensing for experience prior to March 5, 1985.
WAC 246-924-080	Psychology examination -- Application submittal date.
