PREPROPOSAL STATEMENT OF INQUIRY
Subject of Possible Rule Making: Chapter 260-36 WAC.
Statutes Authorizing the Agency to Adopt Rules on this Subject: RCW 67.16.020.
Reasons Why Rules on this Subject may be Needed and What They Might Accomplish: The agency and the industry are reviewing the collection of industrial insurance premiums required under RCW 51.16.210, which the commission is required to collect under RCW 67.16.300. As a result of this review, the commission anticipates the need to amend existing or adopt new sections in chapter 260-36 WAC.
