NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETINGS

RECREATION AND CONSERVATION

     The recreation and conservation funding board (RCFB) will meet Thursday, March 27 and Friday, March 28, at the Natural Resources Building Room #172 in Olympia, Washington.

     The focus of this regular business meeting will be youth athletic fund (YAF) and nonhighway and off-road vehicle activities program (NOVA) noise enforcement grant awards. The board will also discuss and make policy decisions on state parks project ranking, mitigation banking, aquatic lands enhancement account (ALEA), national recreational trails program (NRTP) excess funds, boating advisory committee composition, and NOVA allocation. The board will also hear updates on legislation, the biodiversity council strategy, the invasive species council, the strategic plan, and the state comprehensive outdoor recreation planning (SCORP) document.

     If you plan to participate of have materials for board review, please submit information to the recreation and conservation office (RCO) no later than March 10, 2008. This will allow for distribution to board members in a timely fashion.
