NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF AN INTERPRETIVE STATEMENT

Title of Interpretive Statement: Interpretive Statement OD 13-01 - Prescriptions written on tamper-resistant paper.

Issuing Entity: Board of optometry.

Subject Matter: The board of optometry interprets the requirement that written prescription[s] be on an approved tamper-resistant prescription pad or paper to also apply to written contact lens prescriptions that may be purchased from any authorized contact lens seller.

Effective Date: December 9, 2013.
