ADMINISTRATIVE HEARINGS
[Filed May 31, 2019, 7:22 a.m.]
Subject of Possible Rule Making: WAC 10-08-110 Adjudicative proceedings—Filing and service of papers.
Statutes Authorizing the Agency to Adopt Rules on this Subject: RCW
34.12.080.
Reasons Why Rules on this Subject may be Needed and What They Might Accomplish: The office of administrative hearings (OAH) is proposing to amend WAC 10-08-110 to allow for electronic filing of appeal records with OAH.
Other Federal and State Agencies that Regulate this Subject and the Process Coordinating the Rule with These Agencies: Chapter 10-08 WAC serves as the model rules of procedure for administrative hearings under the Administrative Procedure Act (APA). Therefore, any rule revisions would apply to any APA administrative hearing. We will share the draft rule proposal with interested persons or agencies.
Process for Developing New Rule: A workgroup will be convened to develop language for the proposed rule revisions.
Interested parties can participate in the decision to adopt the new rule and formulation of the proposed rule before publication by contacting Donald Capp, P.O. Box 42488, Olympia, WA 98504, phone 360-407-2700, fax 360-664-8721, email donald.capp@oah.wa.gov, web site www.oah.wa.gov.
