Subject of Possible Rule Making: Changing continuing education reporting period to a two year cycle.

Statutes Authorizing the Agency to Adopt Rules on this Subject: RCW 18.22.015.

Reasons Why Rules on this Subject may be Needed and What They Might Accomplish: The Podiatric Medical Board has been asked by its licensees to change the continuing education reporting period to a two year cycle in order to take advantage of more extensive and comprehensive training courses. This will be more cost efficient for licensees.

Process for Developing New Rule: Solicit input from professional association, licensees, public. Provide information to individuals on the mailing list.
