EMERGENCY RULES
Date of Adoption: May 19, 2000.
Purpose: To adopt administrative rule to implement the legislatures intent as enacted in E2SSB 6499, section 204.
Statutory Authority for Adoption: Chapter 47.26 RCW.
Under RCW 34.05.350 the agency for good cause finds that immediate adoption, amendment, or repeal of a rule is necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety, or general welfare, and that observing the time requirements of notice and opportunity to comment upon adoption of a permanent rule would be contrary to the public interest.

Intent of the regionally significant
transportation program.
The intent of the program is to fund multijurisdictional transportation projects that are regionally significant and alleviate traffic congestion caused by growth, economic development and the movement of freight.
