PILOTAGE COMMISSIONERS

PUBLIC NOTICE


     Pursuant to WAC 363-116-065 Number of pilots, the Washington state board of pilotage commissioners is charged with setting the number of pilots to be licensed in each pilotage district of the state that is best calculated to optimize the operation of a safe, fully regulated, efficient, and competent pilotage service.

     The board will begin gathering information and data that can be used to assist in setting the number of pilots in the Puget Sound pilotage district. Anyone desiring to submit written comments please respond to the above address or fax no later than July 10, 2006. Oral comments will be heard at the next regular board meeting on July 13, 2006, commencing at 9:30 a.m. in the Fourth Floor Rainier Conference Room, 2901 Third Avenue, Seattle, WA 98121.
