Subject: Notice of insurance, DSHS 09-730, on foster care cases.
Effective Date: June 16, 2006.
Document Description: This notice explains to the division of child support (DCS) staff that the division has developed a way to notify foster parents when a child has insurance coverage. Because our foster care cases do not have a custodial parent basic individual record, the support enforcement management system (SEMS) cannot generate the notice of insurance coverage, DSHS 09-730. SEMS has created a new DSHS 09-730 packet for foster care cases.
