     Subject of Possible Rule Making: Chapter 392-153 WAC, Traffic safety education.

     Statutes Authorizing the Agency to Adopt Rules on this Subject: Chapter 28A.220 RCW and RCW 46.20.100.

     Reasons Why Rules on this Subject may be Needed and What They Might Accomplish: To change "behind the wheel" requirements from four hours to six hours to align with commercial school program requirements as administered through the department of licensing. The effective date will be September 1, 2007.
