NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETINGS

BATES TECHNICAL COLLEGE

The board of trustees of Bates Technical College will have a special meeting on November 13, 2008, from 1:00 p.m. to approximately 4:15 p.m. in the Clyde Hupp Board Room at 1101 South Yakima Avenue, Tacoma, WA. The board will go into session for the purpose of discussing the following:

1:00 I. Call to Order -- Determination of a Quorum -- Pledge of Allegiance

1:15 III. 2008 - 09 Budget Reductions
Discussion and Action

The Board will go into executive session for the purpose of discussing items provided for in RCW 42.30.110(1):
     a. To evaluate the qualifications of an applicant for public employment or to review the performance of a public employee;

2:15 IV. Executive Session

The board will go into executive session for the purpose of discussing items provided for in RCW 42.30.110(1):
     (b) To evaluate the qualifications of an applicant for public employment or to review the performance of a public employee;
     (c) To discuss with legal counsel representing the agency matters relating to agency enforcement actions or litigation or potential litigation.

4:00 V. The board will reconvene in open session for any action items. Action items may be taken as necessary in the discretion of the board as a result of any item properly considered in executive session.
