Title of Rule and Other Identifying Information: WAC 183-01-020 Authority and duties, the existing rule reads: "The commission's authority and duties are described in Article 2, section 1 of the state constitution and in RCW 43.03.310." The reference to Article 2 is incorrect; it should read "Article 28, section 1 of the state constitution."

NOTICE

THIS RULE IS BEING PROPOSED UNDER AN EXPEDITED RULE-MAKING PROCESS THAT WILL ELIMINATE THE NEED FOR THE AGENCY TO HOLD PUBLIC HEARINGS, PREPARE A SMALL BUSINESS ECONOMIC IMPACT STATEMENT, OR PROVIDE RESPONSES TO THE CRITERIA FOR A SIGNIFICANT LEGISLATIVE RULE. Purpose of the Proposal and Its Anticipated Effects, Including Any Changes in Existing Rules: The reference to Article 2, section 1 of the state constitution in WAC 183-01-020 is incorrect; the correct reference is Article 28, section 1. The rule will be changed to show the correct state constitution citation.

Reasons Supporting Proposal: To correct an error.

Statutory Authority for Adoption: RCW 43.03.300 through 43.03.310.

Statute Being Implemented: RCW 43.03.310.

Rule is not necessitated by federal law, federal or state court decision.
