PREPROPOSAL STATEMENT OF INQUIRY

BELLINGHAM TECHNICAL COLLEGE

     Subject of Possible Rule Making: Student/campus code of conduct and parking, chapter 495B-120 WAC and WAC 495B-116-150.

     Statutes Authorizing the Agency to Adopt Rules on this Subject: RCW 28B.50.130.

     Reasons Why Rules on this Subject may be Needed and What They Might Accomplish: To update wording to accurately reflect acceptable conduct on campus by students and visitors; job titles; disciplinary authority; appeal procedures; and to clarify parking permits.

     Process for Developing New Rule:      Agency study.
