PERMANENT RULES
Effective Date of Rule: Thirty-one days after filing.
Purpose: The rule provides that the department will not refuse to accept a claim, a signed appeal, or a petition properly filed under WAC 192-04-170. An exception is provided that an individual must provide his or her name and Social Security account number before a claim for benefits can be filed.
Statutory Authority for Adoption: RCW 50.12.010 and 50.12.040.
