Title of Rule and Other Identifying Information: Repeal
of chapter 284-48 WAC.
THIS RULE IS BEING PROPOSED UNDER AN EXPEDITED RULE-MAKING PROCESS THAT WILL ELIMINATE THE NEED FOR THE AGENCY TO HOLD PUBLIC HEARINGS, PREPARE A SMALL BUSINESS ECONOMIC IMPACT STATEMENT, OR PROVIDE RESPONSES TO THE CRITERIA FOR A SIGNIFICANT LEGISLATIVE RULE. Purpose of the Proposal and Its Anticipated Effects, Including Any Changes in Existing Rules: Chapter 284-48 WAC was adopted in 1965 for the purpose of codifying bulletins in WAC. Since that time, only two bulletins have been adopted in this chapter. One bulletin was repealed in 1995. The intact bulletin is no longer necessary because the statutes, RCW 48.17.060 and chapter 48.34 RCW, which the current bulletin relates to, are in place and serve as the necessary tools for regulatory and enforcement purposes.

Rule is not necessitated by federal law, federal or state court decision.
