NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETINGS

WASHINGTON STATE

REHABILITATION COUNCIL

     The Washington state rehabilitation council is a group of fifteen governor-appointed volunteers. The council was created by Title 1, Section 105 of the Rehabilitation Act and by Executive Order 04-04, for the purpose of increasing employment and economic advancement for eligible jobseekers with disabilities. We are systems advocates for the vocational rehabilitation service system and the customers it serves. Our mandates include: Gathering public input about vocational rehabilitation services, assessing program data and performance, and making policy recommendations.

     The objectives for the meeting are to:


Advance work plan goals of five council committees;
Review and discuss customer satisfaction survey findings; and
Gather feedback about satisfaction with services during a customer forum.

     Parking and Transportation: We respectfully encourage all who can use public transportation to do so rather than driving and paying for parking. Unfortunately, we will not pay parking costs. The meeting location is .06 of a mile from the Sound Transit University Light Rail Station and is .25 miles from a Metro transit hub at 3rd Avenue and Union Street.

     The Washington state rehabilitation council received approval from the office of financial management to hold this meeting in person and at this facility.
