Subject of Possible Rule Making: Student grievance procedure.

Statutes Authorizing the Agency to Adopt Rules on this Subject: RCW 28B.50.140(13).

Reasons Why Rules on this Subject may be Needed and What They Might Accomplish: The student grievance procedure establishes rules for resolving student grievances against faculty members, administrators or members of the college staff.

Process for Developing New Rule: Agency study.

Interested parties can participate in the decision to adopt the new rule and formulation of the proposed rule before publication. Adoption of the new WAC is being studied by various groups on campus that include students, faculty, staff and administrators. Inquiries should be addressed to Dolores M.
