Notice of Interpretive or Policy Statement


     In accordance with RCW 34.05.230(12), following is a list of policy and interpretive statements issued by the health care authority (HCA).

     Document Title: Provider Notice #12-30.

     Subject: Early periodic screening, diagnosis and treatment (EPSDT).

     Effective Date: May 10, 2012.

     Effective for dates of service on and after May 10, 2012, the medicaid program of the HCA is publishing a revised EPSDT program medicaid provider guide.

     Specific changes to the guide include:


• General housekeeping changes to Section A.
• Clarification of how to bill the agency for the administration of vaccines.
• Updated codes for immunizations in the "Immunizations from department of health procedure code table.["]
