Subject of Possible Rule Making: Chapter 132Z-116 WAC, Parking and traffic rules of Cascadia College.
Statutes Authorizing the Agency to Adopt Rules on this Subject: RCW 28B.50.140(10).
Reasons Why Rules on this Subject may be Needed and What They Might Accomplish: Cascadia College is considering amending the parking and traffic rules of the college in order to update and clarify sections of this chapter. The parking and traffic rules are needed to govern motorized and nonmotorized vehicle traffic and parking on lands and facilities of Cascadia College in Bothell, Washington. These rules protect and control pedestrian and vehicular traffic on the campus, ensure access at all times for emergency vehicles and equipment, facilitate the operation of the college, minimize traffic disturbances, allocate and promote the efficient use of limited parking space, protect state property and encourage and support travel to the college by means other than single occupancy vehicles.
Process for Developing New Rule: Agency study; and [no further information supplied by agency].
