Statutes Authorizing the Agency to Adopt Rules on this Subject: WAC 392-122-900 General provision—Indirect cost limitations, carryover limitations and recoveries. Reasons Why Rules on this Subject may be Needed and What They Might Accomplish: The office of superintendent of public instruction (OSPI) is considering revising the LAP carryover and recovery calculation rules for the purpose of ensuring that funding for students in need of additional support as appropriated by the legislature can be utilized as the legislature intended. Other Federal and State Agencies that Regulate this Subject and the Process Coordinating the Rule with These Agencies: None. Process for Developing New Rule: Early solicitation of public comments and recommendations respecting new, amended, or repealed rules, and consideration of the comments and recommendations in the course of drafting rules.
