Subject of Possible Rule Making: Amending WAC 30-40-050 Funding.

Statutes Authorizing the Agency to Adopt Rules on this Subject: RCW 43.46.040 and 43.46.090 through 43.46.095.

Reasons Why Rules on this Subject may be Needed and What They Might Accomplish: As worded, this section places a restriction on artwork funding that does not exist in statute.

Other Federal and State Agencies that Regulate this Subject and the Process Coordinating the Rule with These Agencies: Office of financial management - ArtsWA met with key staff at the office of financial management. They are aware of our need for this proposed change.

Process for Developing New Rule: Collaborative rule making.

Conference call attendees must notify the agency the day before to allow time for conference call logistics.
