Subject of Possible Rule Making: WAC 260-70-570 All horses are subject to inspection.

Statutes Authorizing the Agency to Adopt Rules on this Subject: RCW 67.16.020.

Reasons Why Rules on this Subject may be Needed and What They Might Accomplish: To require that horses scheduled for prerace inspections are ready for the official veterinarian in a manner which does not hinder the process.

Process for Developing New Rule: Negotiated rule making.
