Statutes Authorizing the Agency to Adopt Rules on this Subject: RCW 46.01.110 and 46.20.202.

Reasons Why Rules on this Subject may be Needed and What They Might Accomplish: This amendment will allow the state to stay in alignment with federal and state law.

Process for Developing New Rule: Internal review and stakeholder input.
