Title of Rule and Other Identifying Information: WAC 230-05-160 Charitable or nonprofit organization fees.
Purpose of the Proposal and Its Anticipated Effects, Including Any Changes in Existing Rules: Amendments were made to clarify the base license fee, the gross gambling receipt rate, and the maximum annual license fee for raffle - credit union licenses and to differentiate raffle - credit union licenses from other raffle licenses.
Reasons Supporting Proposal: The gambling commission recently adopted rules to allow credit unions to obtain a license to conduct raffles. The proposed rule change clarifies the base license fee, the gross gambling receipt rate, and the maximum annual license fee for raffle - credit union licenses. Explanation of the Reason the Agency Believes the Expedited Rule-Making Process is Appropriate: The proposed rule change clarifies the base license fee, the gross gambling receipt rate, and the maximum annual license fee for raffle - credit union licenses by differentiating it from other raffle licenses without changing the effect of the rule.
