Subject of Possible Rule Making: Revising rule language regarding certain situations involving domestic partnerships.

Statutes Authorizing the Agency to Adopt Rules on this Subject: RCW 41.50.050.

Reasons Why Rules on this Subject may be Needed and What They Might Accomplish: To provide clarification regarding situations where members are in domestic partnerships, retire, then marry their domestic partner and want to change their benefit option.

Process for Developing New Rule: Negotiated rule making.
