Effective Date of Rule: October 1, 2025. Effective date is delayed to align with psychological associate license effective date in E2SHB 2247 (chapter 371, Laws of 2024).
Purpose: Psychologist and psychology associate fees. The department of health (department) is adopting revisions to WAC 246-924-990 Psychology fees and renewal cycle, to implement recent legislation by: (1) Updating application, renewal, and other fees for a psychologist license; (2) establishing a fee schedule for a licensed psychological associate license; and (3) establishing a fee schedule for participation in the psychology interjurisdictional compact.

WAC 246-924-990Psychology fees and renewal cycle.
(1) Except for a probationary license ((as described in))under WAC 246-924-493, licenses must be renewed every year on the practitioner's birthday as provided in chapter 246-12 WAC((, Part 2)).
(2) The following nonrefundable fees will be charged for a psychology license:
