RESCISSION OF EMERGENCY RULES

DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH

This memo serves as notice that on June 12, 2025, the department of health (department) is rescinding the emergency rule (CR-103E) for reducing barriers to licensure and streamlining the credentialing process for mental health counselors, marriage and family therapists, and social workers under WAC 246-809-110, 246-809-130, 246-809-220, 246-809-221, 246-809-230, 246-809-330, and 246-809-990, which was filed February 20, 2025, and published in WSR 25-06-007.

The department is rescinding this CR-103E because permanent rules on the same subject have been filed as WSR 25-11-019 and will become effective on June 12, 2025. Rescinding the emergency rules will avoid confusion among the public about which version of these rules to reference.
