Subject of Possible Rule Making: Student code of conduct and student disciplinary procedures.

Statutes Authorizing the Agency to Adopt Rules on this Subject: RCW 34.05.010(16) and 28B.50.140(13).

Reasons Why Rules on this Subject may be Needed and What They Might Accomplish: To bring Lower Columbia College's student conduct code, chapter 132M-126 WAC, into compliance with a federal ruling vacating previous federal regulations related to Title IX of the Education Amendment of 1972 and to update other provisions of the student conduct code to reflect current issues and needs of the district and its students.
