PREPROPOSAL STATEMENT OF INQUIRY

This memo serves as notice that the department of health (department) is withdrawing the CR-101 to consider amending rules and establishing a new section in chapter 246-341 WAC to implement a uniform enforcement tool for behavioral health agencies as provided by ESSB 5271 (chapter 121, Laws of 2024). The CR-101 was filed on January 2, 2025, and published in WSR 25-03-002.

The department is withdrawing this CR-101 and will consider a new rules project that may include additional types of health care facilities affected by ESSB 5271.
