NOTICE
Title or Subject: Medicaid State Plan Amendment (SPA) 25-0023 Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) Rates.
Effective Date: July 1, 2025.
Description: The health care authority (HCA) and the aging and long-term support administration (ALTSA) of the department of social and health services (DSHS) intends to submit SPA 25-0023 in order to increase assisted living facility, adult family home, individual provider, and agency provider medicaid rates. SPA 25-0023 is expected to:

| • | Increase the assisted living facility daily rates by a weighted average of $0.73 to a projected total weighted average of $151.37, an increase of 0.5 percent. |
| • | Increase the adult family home daily rates by a weighted average of $22.58 to $189.45, an increase of 14 percent. |
| • | Increase the individual provider hourly rates by $1.60 to $37.56, an increase of four percent. |
| • | Increase the agency provider hourly rates by $1.76 to $42.92, an increase of four percent. |
The SPA is currently under development. You may request a copy and it will be sent as soon as a draft is completed. HCA and DSHS would appreciate any input or concerns regarding this SPA.
