NORTHWEST CLEAN

AIR AGENCY

Effective Date of Rule: Thirty-one days after filing.

Purpose: This action is undertaken so that San Juan County may join Island, Skagit, and Whatcom counties in the Northwest Clean Air Agency (NWCAA) jurisdiction. In accordance with the State Clean Air Act (RCW 70A.15.1540), the entire NWCAA regulation (as adopted by May 21, 2025) is being readopted unchanged.

Statutory Authority for Adoption: Chapter 70A.15 RCW.
