Subject of Possible Rule Making: Peninsula College code of student rights and responsibilities, chapter 132A-127 WAC, to be in compliance with 2020 Title IX rules.

Statutes Authorizing the Agency to Adopt Rules on this Subject: RCW 28B.50.140(13).

Reasons Why Rules on this Subject may be Needed and What They Might Accomplish: To be in compliance with 2020 Title IX rules. On January 9, 2025, a United States district court vacated the final rule made on April 24, 2024. This notice is regarding Peninsula College adopting the 2020 Title IX rules and updating definitions in the student rights and responsibilities to be in compliance with the 2020 Title IX rules.
