Subject of Possible Rule Making: Chapter 308-408 WAC, Home inspector—Definitions; and chapter 308-408C WAC, Home inspector—Standards of practice.

Statutes Authorizing the Agency to Adopt Rules on this Subject: RCW 18.280.050 Director's authority, and 18.280.060 Board's authority.

Reasons Why Rules on this Subject may be Needed and What They Might Accomplish: The department of licensing is conducting rule making to update chapter 308-408C WAC with recommended updates on behalf of the Washington state home inspector advisory licensing board.

Process for Developing New Rule: Negotiated rule making.
