WITHDRAWAL OF

PREPROPOSAL STATEMENT OF INQUIRY

On December 19, 2023, the Washington state office of superintendent of public instruction (OSPI) filed a CR-101 preproposal statement of inquiry (WSR 24-01-118) concerning permanent rule making for chapters 392-121 and 392-169 WAC.

To align the rule language with recently enacted legislation, OSPI will need to rescind [withdraw] WSR 24-01-118 in order to file an updated version of the CR-101. The updated CR-101 will be filed on the same day that WSR 24-01-118 is rescinded [withdrawn].

Therefore, this document serves as official notification that OSPI is rescinding [withdrawing] WSR 24-01-118, effective August 29, 2025.
