This memo serves as notice that the dental quality assurance commission (commission) is rescinding Policy HSQA DQAC 2025-01.1, Delayed Effective Date for Pediatric Sedation Endorsement, which was filed February 26, 2025, and published in WSR 25-06-032.

Permanent rules were adopted under WSR 24-01-033, filed on December 11, 2023, for WAC 246-817-765. This policy statement extended the effective date for when a licensed dentist must have a pediatric sedation endorsement to administer moderate sedation with enteral agents or moderate sedation with parenteral agents to pediatric patients from February 28, 2025, to June 30, 2025. The commission is rescinding this policy because additional extensions are not needed.
