POLICY STATEMENT

This memo serves as notice that the pharmacy quality assurance commission is rescinding P010, Enforcement of United States Pharmacopeia (USP) General Chapters <795>, <797>, <800>, and <825>, which was filed on November 3, 2023, and published in WSR 23-23-041.

This policy statement clarified that the commission would require licensees who engage in compounding to comply with four chapters of the USP, as applicable: Chapters <795>, <797>, <800>, and <825>. The commission is rescinding this policy because it completed rule making incorporating the relevant USP chapters by reference on April 15, 2024, under WSR 24-09-051. As a result, this policy statement is no longer needed.
