Subject of Possible Rule Making: Purchase of pension service credit for authorized leaves of absence.

Statutes Authorizing the Agency to Adopt Rules on this Subject: Chapter 112, Laws of 2025.

Reasons Why Rules on this Subject may be Needed and What They Might Accomplish: Rule making to implement chapter 112, Laws of 2025, which allows members of the law enforcement officer and firefighter retirement system Plan 2 to purchase service credit when they retire after an authorized leave of absence.

Process for Developing New Rule: Negotiated rule making.
