This memo serves as notice that the examining board of psychology (board) is rescinding EBOP-21-01, Application of Supervised Experience Hours for Applicants of a Psychologist License When Only Partial Credit Applies, which was filed December 12, 2021, and published in WSR 22-01-091.

This policy statement established the board's policy of granting partial credit for supervised experience hours that do not meet all requirements in chapter 246-924 WAC. The board is rescinding this policy because the content of this policy statement is obsolete, as supervised experience requirements were substantially revised in recent rule amendments, filed under WSR 25-15-068, and effective August 14, 2025. Additionally, because awarding partial credit has become the board's standard practice, some of this policy statement may be transitioned to a Frequently Asked Question on the program's website. As a result, this policy statement is no longer needed.
