Minimum Wage Calculations for 2026
As per RCW
49.46.020, the department of labor and industries (L&I) must calculate Washington state's minimum wage based on the consumer price index for urban wage earners and clerical workers index.
L&I has calculated the adjusted minimum wage rate for 2026 to $17.13 per hour, effective January 1, 2026. This is a $.47 per hour increase from 2025.
