On June 16, 2025, the office of superintendent of public instruction (OSPI) filed a CR-101 preproposal statement of inquiry (WSR 25-13-079) concerning permanent rule making for chapter 392-550 WAC. However, OSPI determined that the current rule-making effort should be discontinued.

Therefore, this document serves as official notification that OSPI is rescinding [withdrawing] WSR 25-13-079, effective October 1, 2025.
