Semi-Annual Rules Development Agenda
January to June 2026 (as of January 6, 2026)
In accordance with RCW
34.05.314, the Washington state department of transportation (WSDOT) anticipates developing rules as follows:

| • | Changes to WAC 468-06-090 to add an RCW citation about deposits for copying fees for public records requests. |
| • | Changes to WAC 468-06-140 to reflect requirements for the WSDOT index of records. |
| • | Changes to WAC 468-30-110 to implement HB 1774 regarding allowable terms for the lease of unused highway land for community purposes. |
| • | Changes to chapter 468-100 WAC regarding uniform relocation assistance and real property acquisition based on changes to federal regulations and state law. |
| • | Changes to WAC 468-305-100 and 468-305-300 to address toll payment options that are now available on the State Route 167 express toll lanes. |
| • | Creation of a new WAC chapter to address turnback agreements for property used for highway purposes. |
