PREPROPOSAL STATEMENT OF INQUIRY

Subject of Possible Rule Making: Chapter 110-50 WAC, Child welfare, will be creating new WAC 110-50-0375 Legal basis for the child welfare housing assistance program, 110-50-0380 Purpose, 110-50-0385 Definitions, 110-50-0390 Administering and accessing the child welfare housing assistance program, and 110-50-0395 Child welfare housing assistance program reporting requirements; and other related WAC.

Statutes Authorizing the Agency to Adopt Rules on this Subject: RCW 74.13.802.

Reasons Why Rules on this Subject may be Needed and What They Might Accomplish: The partnership, prevention, and services division is adding rules to chapter 110-50 WAC, Child welfare, to establish formal procedures for the implementation of the child welfare housing assistance program, as required by RCW 74.13.802.

Other Federal and State Agencies that Regulate this Subject and the Process Coordinating the Rule with These Agencies: Not applicable.

Process for Developing New Rule: Collaborative rule making.
