TRAINING COMMISSION

Subject of Possible Rule Making: Revising WAC 139-11-020, 139-11-040, 139-11-050, and 139-11-060 to add clarifying language, remove obsolete language, and make any other applicable updates as needed.
Reasons Why Rules on this Subject may be Needed and What They Might Accomplish: These WAC guide stakeholders on the Law Enforcement Training and Community Safety Act training requirements. These rules have not been updated since inception and now require the removal of outdated language and addition of clarifying language, as requested from the state auditor's office on behalf of our stakeholders. Other general or consistency updates may also be included.
Other Federal and State Agencies that Regulate this Subject and the Process Coordinating the Rule with These Agencies: Not applicable.
Process for Developing New Rule: Intergovernmental rule making that only applies to other governmental agencies or solely impacts the Washington state criminal justice training commission's rules.
