Subject of Possible Rule Making: This rule making would revise chapter 468-15 WAC to allow use of the small works roster contracting process for Washington state ferries vessels. It would also replace references to the repealed RCW
39.04.155.
Reasons Why Rules on this Subject may be Needed and What They Might Accomplish: This will allow Washington state ferries to utilize the small works roster process to deliver the vessel preservation program. It will also update RCW references to provide current information.
Process for Developing New Rule: Research with the Washington state department of transportation construction division and the attorney general's office.
