Subject of Possible Rule Making: Medical insurance premium reimbursement—Law enforcement officers' and firefighters' (LEOFF) plan 2 members.

Statutes Authorizing the Agency to Adopt Rules on this Subject: RCW 41.50.050.

Reasons Why Rules on this Subject may be Needed and What They Might Accomplish: The department of retirement systems (DRS) is developing a rule to provide further clarification regarding reimbursement of medical premiums for LEOFF plan 2 members who are catastrophically disabled in the line of duty.

Process for Developing New Rule: Negotiated rule making.
