CONSERVATION COMMISSION

Title of Rule and Other Identifying Information: WAC 135-04-020 pertains to the regular meetings of the Washington state conservation commission (commission), including a prescribed time and date. This amendment would change the regular meeting to occur at least six times per year at times determined by the commission.
Purpose of the Proposal and Its Anticipated Effects, Including Any Changes in Existing Rules: WAC 135-04-020 would be amended so that the regular meetings of the commission would change from occurring at 9:30 a.m. the third Thursday of every other month to occurring at least six times per year at times determined by the commission.
Reasons Supporting Proposal: Administrative efficiency.

89.08.070(15).
Rule is not necessitated by federal law, federal or state court decision.

WAC 135-04-020Regular meetings.
The state conservation commission, established pursuant to chapter
89.08 RCW, shall hold its regular meetings for the transaction of official business ((
on the third Thursday of every other month))
at least six times per year at times determined by the commission, beginning in January 1974. ((
Such regular meetings shall commence at 9:30 a.m. If at any time any regular meeting falls on a holiday, such regular meeting shall be held on the next business day.))
