WITHDRAWAL OF

PREPROPOSAL STATEMENT OF INQUIRY

The veterinary board of governors (board) is withdrawing the CR-101 for establishing standards for telemedicine services in veterinary care, WAC 246-933-010 and 246-933-200, which was filed October 21, 2025, and published in WSR 25-21-129.

The board is withdrawing this CR-101 because ESHB 2247 (chapter 202, Laws of 2026), an act relating to veterinarian-client-patient relationships, requires a different scope of rule making than was previously authorized by the board. A new CR-101 will be filed to implement ESHB 2247.
