Subject of Possible Rule Making: Medical expense reimbursement payments.

Statutes Authorizing the Agency to Adopt Rules on this Subject: RCW 41.50.050.

Reasons Why Rules on this Subject may be Needed and What They Might Accomplish: Clarifying that under law enforcement officers' and firefighters' Plan 2, medical expense reimbursement payments are fringe benefits instead of basic salary.

Process for Developing New Rule: Negotiated rule making.
